Meet Minnie

I set up the Interior Design Nook in 2020, after teaching design for 12 years. I’ve been obsessed with interiors and floor plans (geek, I know!) since I was 5. I studied Architecture and Interior Design at university, then went on to do a postgraduate diploma in Furniture Design. After over a decade of teaching, it took maternity leave in lockdown for me to take the leap and set up my own business.

Since then I’ve set up my design studio in our chapel home in Peterchurch, Herefordshire (between Hereford and Hay on Wye), and I’ve started working with clients all over the UK and in Europe.

I love working with your ‘problems’ and no challenge is too great! My skills lie in creative solutions, delivering effortlessly practical spaces without compromising on aesthetics, and spending your budget wisely to create your dream home. I really believe that good design can change your life and as such my process is very personalised to you. Your interior design project is likely to be a journey of discovery for you too! My design style is relaxed and sophisticated, taking inspiration from the British landscape. Click here to read more about it.

I mainly hang out of Facebook, and I enjoy giving advice in a variety of interior design support groups on the platform. I regularly share moodboards, tips and inspiration on social media. Follow my page here to keep in touch. Click below to contact me and request my Welcome Pack.
